Engagement models
Pricing
Three shapes of engagement. Which one fits depends on how much of the work you want to keep in-house.
Reddit work is priced on operator time, not on impressions, because that is what it consumes. A quiet month of careful commenting in four communities costs less than a launch quarter with an AMA and paid behind it, and it should.
Three ways to work with us
Pilot
One month, fixed scope
The research half of the programme, delivered as something you could act on alone.
- Full mention and competitor audit
- Subreddit shortlist with rules documented
- The 90-day playbook
- A working session to hand it over
Best for: Teams who want to know whether this channel is real for them before committing a quarter.
Growth retainer
Monthly, three-month minimum
The operating rhythm: we run the weekly engagement, you approve and occasionally post.
- Everything in the pilot, refreshed quarterly
- Daily monitoring and same-day alerts
- Drafted comments and posts at an agreed weekly cadence
- One owned post or thread per month
- Weekly note, monthly report
Best for: The default. Most brands sit here for two or three quarters before deciding to scale.
Scale
Monthly
Multiple product lines or markets, campaign work, and paid running alongside the organic programme.
- Everything in Growth, across multiple categories or regions
- Reddit Ads management included
- AMA and launch campaigns
- A named strategist and a standing weekly call
Best for: Brands where Reddit has already proven itself and now needs to be run properly.
What moves the number
Two engagements with the same name can be priced quite differently. These are the honest reasons why:
| Factor | Effect | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Number of communities in scope | Up | Each one needs its rules read, its culture learned, and its own standing built. |
| Regulated category | Up | Legal review on public statements slows every cycle and raises the cost of being wrong. |
| A founder who will post | Down | Founder-led comments perform better and need less drafting than brand-account copy. |
| Existing negative threads | Up at first | Reputation work front-loads effort, then settles. |
| Ads in scope | Up | Paid adds creative, targeting and daily management on top of the organic rhythm. |
| Long contract | Down | Reddit compounds; a longer commitment lets us spend earlier effort on things that pay off later. |
What we do not charge for
- The initial teardown - it is free, and it is yours whether or not you hire us
- The playbook, the research and the accounts - all yours if the engagement ends
- Reddit Ads spend - that goes to Reddit directly, on your own billing account, never through us
Questions we get asked
Why is there no price on this page?
Because a number without a scope is a guess, and the scope is genuinely different between a single-product SaaS in two subreddits and a DTC brand with a reputation problem in nine. The teardown produces a scope, and the scope produces a number - usually within a week of the first call.
Do you take a percentage of ad spend?
Where we manage Reddit Ads, yes - a management percentage on top of the retainer. Spend itself is billed by Reddit to your own account, so you keep the billing relationship and the data.
Is there a minimum term?
Three months for the retainer, because anything shorter cannot fairly be judged on a channel this slow to start. The pilot has no minimum - it is one month, fixed scope.
What if it is not working?
We would rather tell you than keep invoicing. The quarterly review is a genuine decision point, and we have recommended stopping before.
Get a scope, then a number
The teardown gives us both. It costs nothing.
