Fit
Who we help
Reddit rewards the same behaviour everywhere. What changes is which communities matter, who has to be convinced, and how long the decision takes.
Three business models
B2B SaaS
Where your evaluators compare tools without a vendor in the room.
B2B SaaSEcommerce and DTC
Where "what should I actually buy" gets answered by people who bought it.
Ecommerce and DTCConsumer apps
Where early users find you, and where churn gets explained honestly.
Consumer appsWhen Reddit is a bad idea
It is worth saying out loud, because the wrong fit wastes a quarter. We will tell you this on the call rather than after the invoice.
- Your category is genuinely not discussed on Reddit - some regulated, local and heavy-industrial niches are not, and no amount of effort creates a community that does not exist.
- You need pipeline inside thirty days and have nothing else running. Organic Reddit will not do that. Reddit Ads might, but that is a different conversation.
- Nobody internally is willing to be named. Anonymous brand-speak is the one approach Reddit reliably rejects.
- Your product has an unresolved, widely-reported problem. Fix it first; visibility will only find it faster.
Questions we get asked
We sell to enterprise. Is Reddit not all consumers?
Reddit has a deep bench of practitioner communities - sysadmins, devops, security, accounting, legal, healthcare IT - where the people in the threads are the people who will run your evaluation. The buying committee’s technical seat is very often a Redditor.
We are pre-launch. Too early?
Usually not, and pre-launch is the best time to do the listening half. Building standing in a community before you need anything from it is the entire game.
Not on the list?
Tell us the category and we will tell you honestly whether Reddit is worth your quarter.
