Who we help
Reddit marketing for B2B SaaS
The person who runs your evaluation is usually a practitioner, and practitioners ask their peers before they ask your sales team. Those conversations happen on Reddit, in public, and mostly without you.
B2B on Reddit looks nothing like B2B on LinkedIn. There is no audience for thought leadership and no tolerance for a case study. There is enormous appetite for someone who will explain, precisely, how a thing works and where it falls over.
Where the conversations are
Rarely in a subreddit named after your category. Almost always in the communities organised around the job your buyer does - the people who will be told to implement whatever gets bought.
- Role communities: sysadmins, devops, security, data engineering, accounting, HR, legal ops.
- Industry communities: MSPs, agencies, e-commerce operators, healthcare IT, manufacturing.
- Stack communities: the subreddit for the platform you integrate with, where "has anyone connected X to Y" is asked weekly.
- Company-stage communities, where founders and operators ask what to buy next.
What works
Engineers and support staff, not marketers
The person who can answer a technical objection in two sentences is worth more here than anyone who writes copy. We draft; they approve or correct.
Explaining the category, not the product
"Here is how this class of tool actually handles that problem, including the tradeoff nobody mentions" - with your product as one example, not the conclusion.
Pricing transparency
Threads asking what a category really costs are everywhere and almost never answered honestly. Answering with real numbers is memorable in a way nothing else is.
Saying when you are the wrong fit
"Under 20 seats, we are overkill - use X" wins more pipeline than it loses, from people who remember who was straight with them.
Measuring a long sales cycle
Last-click will under-report Reddit badly: a practitioner reads a thread on their phone, mentions your name in a meeting six weeks later, and the deal arrives as direct traffic or a demo request.
So we instrument it differently: a "how did you hear about us" field on the demo form, mention share tracked against your named competitors, and sales asked to note when Reddit comes up on a call. Imperfect, but directionally honest - which is more than a last-click dashboard manages here.
Questions we get asked
Our category has no subreddit. Is that a blocker?
Usually the opposite. It means your buyers discuss the problem in their role community, where there is far less vendor noise, and where a genuinely expert answer stands out.
Can we post our case studies?
Not as posts. The content of a case study - the specific numbers, the thing that went wrong in the implementation - is very welcome inside an answer to someone asking about that exact problem. The PDF is not.
